Last week, I launched a new exclusive quick-tip series for our Twitter followers. What makes this screencast series unique is that they’re all five minutes or less, and the topic for each entry comes straight from the community! As these will not be posted on the blogs, the only way to stay up to date is to follow Nettuts+ and ThemeForest!
Just for a one-time sample, here are the first two quick tips.

Fonts are a huge part of design (as we all know). Text on the web needs to be much more dynamic than in any other media. We have solutions like Cufón, sIFR, etc. but perhaps one of the better options is using @font-face in CSS.
We’ll take a quick look at using @font-face in CSS and 15 great free fonts you can start using today.
In this short tutorial, we’ll be adding buttons to our WordPress theme to allow visitors to easily submit the current article to social bookmarking sites like Delicious, Reddit, Digg, StumbleUpon, Twitter and Facebook.
I’ll bet that many of you have used or have been searching for a WordPress contact form to you for yourself or a client. Plugins can be great and very convenient, but your also relying on the plugin developer to make sure it works and does what you want. Today, we are going to build our contact page, complete with a working AJAX/php contact form! We will use the jQuery library to pull off the AJAX call and animation effects. It’s a day you won’t want to miss if you have ever wondered how to build an AJAX contact form with WordPress.
It’s been a hectic 3 days for us here at Envato. We’ve had a massively successful Birthday Bundle (over 5,000 sales in 3 days), lots of giveaways, a fantastic Tuts+ tutorial set up for free download and our first video interview. Here in the office we’ve also been celebrating today with a big lunch and lots of network gaming! With the birthday all wrapped up now though I thought I’d give you a very quick preview of what’s coming up in September…
When we set out a couple of months ago planning a way to say thank you to all our buyers here on the Envato marketplaces, there was one really stand out idea. It was put forward by our very savvy AudioJungle site manager ScottWills who suggested a fantastic bundle deal. It was a cool idea, but I don’t think anyone here at Envato HQ every expected it to be such a runaway success!
The most immediate consequence is we will definitely be running Birthday Bundles every year in August from now on. So if you enjoyed this bundle there will be more to come next year!
Never content to just sit on our fingers, we’re always in search of new revenue streams for both us…and our authors! As such, we’ve launched a subcategory in the “site template” section which features beautifully designed specialty pages. Whether you’re in need of a pre-built 404 page, or a count-down under construction page – while you update your site – we’ve got you covered! Let’s take a look at a few of our current offerings.
